Really? You think the rest of the world is that far ahead? Just a few years ago, a Swedish person could easily say the exact same thing about the US. It took decades some might say centuries of social changes and activism for gay rights to reach where it is in the West, but meanwhile the other countries that are going through the exact same struggles are backwards? You took all the time that you needed, but the others are not entitled to the same? Where the hell do you get off judging others like you are above them?
