I don't understand how people dislike Ride?? That's her best song?! It's so well written and her delivery on the track is so emotional and vulnerable but still so powerful and captivating. It's truly outstanding. Rick Rubin is an amazing producer for gods sakes he produced Californication, By The Way, and Stadium Arcadium. In my humble opinion he brought Lana to a whole other level of awesome and it's a shame they only created one song together. I feel bad for those who don't understand.. I'll shed a tear for you.
On another note. I'm extremely hyped for MTWBT. This is probably my most anticipated Lana song of all time. I hope it has a Beach Boys way about it.. That would just blow me away. Really sad to see Parker, Heath, Stranathan won't be returning. I'm trying to stay positive.

agreed. i don't see how it's "basic," but that's just my opinion
i think a few lines in the lyrics are a little stupid/silly, but overall, it's really great. the vocals and harmonies are excellent, the melodies rock, and the song keeps building...it's so dynamic and perfect.
I said imo!!!, its just not my cup of tea idk why, none of the Paradise EP really resonated with me, when it was released i liked it a lot but it got super old. It's a great song tho, just not my fave.
The only thing that bothers me is that I know she's capable of so much more. She's got some of the most original and interesting visions in the industry, and I'm sure she's got a lot of imagery in her head for the new songs too, but for some reason she doesn't let her full potential come through.
I have always loved and will continue to love Lana's music, but the beginning of her career was exciting visually too, and I miss that. I know the music speaks for itself, but I've always thought that her visuals were part of her art and she was exceptionally good at that. Since UV (although it's an outstanding album and easily her best) it feels like she just chucks the material onto iTunes and moves on, when the work itself has much more potential, and should be given a chance to come alive through live performances and music videos.
Still looking forward to Honeymoon, though.
I feel the same way.
Still exited for Huntymoon!!
My most anticipated tracks are MTWBT, GNIT, and Salvatore
What are yours??
Wait... there are people who don't like Ride?
The bridge/last chorus slays lives and everyone's faves
If that is your least fave than what is your fave Lana song?
Also, unpopular opinion (apparently) but Prisoner >>>>>>> HM
