It's really not lol. It's actually incredible how he has managed to maintain a consistent spot in the industry and a successful career even with all of that, plus more. Obviously he isn't going to sell the same amount as Confessions after such huge backlash. He's still doing just fine and in retrospect is this generations Usher, regardless.
It's not really sad. Usher didn't beat up another major star nor had a huge scandal in the midst of his career. Plus, R&B doesn't sell nearly as much as it did when Confessions was released. He's done AMAZINGLY considering.
You like it or not the the right phrase is "he is just there".
Sad that he didn't quite reach Usher's status/success (for comparison purposes, Confessions sold over 10 million copies in the US alone).
Right.
he was coming for him AND JT. Everyone knew he could outdance them both and he was just beginning to crossover/become a marketable force...then he threw it all away. His music is still good but he's basically an urban singles artist on par with Trey Songz and Jeremih which is so tragic considering he was so far ahead of them all. He doesnt really push albums like that anymore.

Now we're stuck with Bieber
Lol. Girl bye. He is MILES ahead of Trey Songz and Jeremih still. Please stop
