I always think Tik Tok selling 15 million is really weird since Poker Face outsold it in every country, must be the ringtone sales added to it's total sales
Tik Tok was pretty huge as a standalone single that year, but I mean in terms of actual impact though Tik Tok is more comparable to that of like a one hit wonder. Because even though she had top 10 hits and a #1 afterwards obviously, she never reached the success of Tik Tok ever again and in fact her star that year revolved solely around Tik Tok. Whereas Gaga got bigger and bigger with each single not even talking about sales but impact alone. I mean Paparazzi only peaked at #6 and im sure it sold less but I think its bigger than We R Who We R which has had no longevity over the years and was sort of catapulted to number on based on the release of Cannibal. Idk, Gaga is obviously the one with stronger #1's especially considering she still gets rotated whereas Ke$ha does not.
Gaga by far. But to be fair Tik Tok is bigger than any Gaga single. But just dance and poker face were still huge hits, and we r who we r was a smash but it wasn't like HUGE
