Not really. My iPhone screws up the tags like that all the time, even if they're right on my computer. For some reason it only happens with artists who have at least one song where they share an Artists tag.
All my (legally purchased) Carly Rae songs show up as "Carly Rae Jepsen & Justin Bieber" in the now playing section and all two of my legally purchased Jessie J songs (don't judge me) show up as "Jessie J, Ariana Grande, & Nicki Minaj". It's a long-running problem with iOS 8.
