Of COURSE he would when THAT is exactly what they want us to believe. That is was real not just some weak ass staged feud to stir controversy and gain more viewers because they couldn't get more A-listers to attend this show.
Like, of course the damn producer of the show would say it wasn't staged!
It would be so embarrassing if he admits it was staged. That's like asking a damn robber to admit robbing a damn bank. OF COURSE HE WOULDN'T
The lashings he and the MTV team would receive if they admits to sinking that low to get views which will not only tarnish his reputation but also MTV VMA's reputation which is one of the biggest award shows in the music industry.
I mean just look at their damn website and facebook page. They've been posting and sharing numerous "OMG!! REEL UNSEEN FOOTAGE OF MILEY reacting to this totally REEL FEUD!1!", "LOOK @ how Miley's family reacted!1!" videos thinking they could fool the public (looks like they did

THAT's what you're not getting. The tried pulling a stunt and it FAILED. Everybody, well most of us, saw through their pathetic little plan to get attention. They tried their best to make this seem like a big deal but it backfired. I mean it goes right back to Nicki's tweets which was a week or two (?) before the show, to Miley being the host and the one involved in the "feud" adding oil to the fire with her interview.
And, again, Miley is a damn actress. She's been doing this since she was a damn kid. You seriously think she couldn't put on the "serious/I'm disappointed in you/No big deal" face with that many years of acting experience under her belt?
Literally everything, EVERYTHING that happened during that failed scene shows it was staged. There's nothing that happened during the scene can convince me it wasn't.
But sure, let's ignore all that and listen to what the producer of that show is saying because he wouldn't lie!
