"Congratulations for proving to us that it is possible that frontrunners in the game can still close the game with a bang! I'm blown away by that thought tbh. My question for you is, in the middle of the game, your star kinda faded a bit in terms of entry submissions imo, Did you really planned on doing it? Is it a strategy to keep yourself out from the radar or it is just plain coincidence that your entries got overshadowed by emerging castaways of the game? Did you really enjoy playing this game? Please enlighten me."
Well, the first thing I do when I participate in a tournament is study up on previous seasons and use the top players from the seasons before me as a template for my gameplay. So for example, in Les ATRLer Season 3, I would constantly go back to season 2 to check how Rider would execute certain challenges and try to mimic his approach, but somehow add my own individuality into it. With this game it was a bit difficult to emulate the social aspect, as the stark difference between this season and the previous one wouldn't allow for it. But challenge-wise, I felt the biggest inspiration from prezli and Yvess. I knew that staying in the top half of the charts would keep me on everyones minds and help establish me as a force, where as I didn't want to do too well or else I would've been a threat since day one post-merge. So it was extremely difficult trying to balance the two, & the process required throwing some challenges but in return I worked twice as hard on developing and solidifying relationships & worked just as hard on my entries so that no one suspected a thing. It required a lot of effort but it was worth it, I was never targeted until it was too late, (where my inspiration from you came from) I knew that I wanted to win the final challenge for sure, but I was still contemplating on whether or not I should go for the two immunity idols before then and I wasn't sure if I would even win the second to last immunity, which is why it became so difficult for me. I wasn't working with any definites; it was around that time that I looked a bit further into your placement last season & I realized that the only two idols that you won were the final two and I thought that would be the perfect plan. However I was working with a big "if" I could only advance to the finale if I won the last two immunity challenges in a row without making it seem like I had something up my sleeve. I tried to minimize that "if" by orchestrating Element's elimination, the biggest threat to my immunity idol, but it didn't go as planned. So I put down my social gameplay for a while and worked 24/7 on my entry, constantly thinking of ways I could blow the judges' mind so that they would be left with no other choice but to hand me the immunity idol on a silver platter.
Although I may not have talked with every single person in this tournament, I was loyal to every single person that showed me honesty & loyalty. I tried my absolute best throughout this competition and I hope the jury sees how much I want this.
|
Thanks. Its flattering that you got me and prezli as your peg early on the game. Technically, me and prezli are like twins in S4, we would always talk about our entries, with Bloomers and ivory....
and thanks for makin me remember how I won back to back immunity challenges last season. I guess that really boosted my image in the jury since they wouldn't vote for me coz im irrelevant tbh. Thanks for answering my last question in full detail.

I probably would have been torn apart. My social game this season was the biggest mess ever.

Can I still ask one question to the Top 3?
It's just a fun question to keep this thread more alive since we're waiting for votes.
If ever you lose this game, would you still consider joining for the next season? And if yes, who among from this season's castaways do you want to see in that season?

Damn right. Its like you will be dragged to hell and back in the interview. I honestly thought you will join the Top 3 since they might think that they could have more chances of winning if you were there.
but in all honesty, Id like to point out that your gameplay this time took a 360 turn from last season and it looked like it helped you reach the Top 4 status.
Survivor 6: Heroes vs Villains is waiting for you sis.

It depends on how much time has passed since this season and how busy things are in my life at the time. This game is pretty simple to start but things get a little heavier once we get into post-merge.
Who I'd like to see return for another season: Bloomers, dwuw, Ares, rl, Sebas, Flame Beat Z000, Bitchcraft

Believe me, I tried working that angle.
And yeah, I thought that the fact that I was too nice and good at challenges was the main reason I got voted off last season. So I was actively trying to be a bit more unlikable and was throwing a lot of the challenges as a result. Unfortunately, I've learned it's a good strategy to get far but not to win. Oh well, better luck next time.
We'll see

I feel like, knowing the previous public conflict between jury members and Ivory, most people would have wanted to bring him to the finale. I definitely did once we got to the mid-merge. When we got to the final four, and T-Swizz won immunity, voting out Ivory was the only way that Guero and I could go. We weren't going to betray each other after this entire game together. And the final four tiebreaker rule meant that we were both guaranteed a finale spot as long as the two of us stuck together and forced the tie on Ivory.

Yes, I honestly noticed that you were holding back on the pre merge rounds, very unusual of you since I know you're such a strong force to reckon with last season.
I just got the confirmation that you took the #ChaosKass route when you plotted prezli's elimination. I'm so shocked that time tbh.
Yeah, Atleast now I know that being unlikable is your plan and you DID it on purpose.
You need to join an all-stars season with prezli. Im here for it.

Good question! I definitely feel like this season, I grew so much as a player from my first attempt in season three. I basically reached every goal that I set for myself, and we will find out tonight if the final goal will be accomplished. It would be awesome to see my name on next season's logo. I think that because I made it to the final tribal council, and really had a personally fulfilling season, I would elect not to join a future season because I want to allow someone else to have the opportunity to compete in this tournament, challenge themselves, and make new friends. If I were invited back for a returnee-players season of sorts, I would likely accept, unless I was extremely busy at the time. I'd probably get booted in the first three rounds though, let's be real.
I would love to see a whole bunch of castaways compete again! Xedretinz, Flame Beat, wesleywalrus, prezli, rl231, Sebas, Bloomers, dwuw, Golden, and Ares come to mind. I feel like they have a lot more to offer and that they have unfinished business to attend to. Some of them could make it to the final tribal council on their second/third attempt because they know how to put in the work to get to that point. I would love to watch that happen!

You said it right. Its like you are downsizing the competition if Ivory joins the finale. No offense to ivory but if he joined you guys on the finale, its most likely he won't win coz I know that he will be exposed by the jury members so hard.
and smart tactic btw to force a tie on Ivory....

Yeah, Ivory had ultimately become a "goat" in the game, which is when the jury is known to dislike or not respect the gameplay of that person. Some examples might include Starships in season three, whose gameplay was so sporadic and floater-esque that really no one on the jury was a fan of her. It's a common strategy on the real TV show as well, as seen in recent seasons where Will Sims was brought to the end after being seen as a beligerent and lazy player (Worlds Apart), and where Kass (Cagayan) was also kept around due to being massively hated by the jury after her initial flip and consistently caustic nature in camp life.

Oh thanks Elliement. I'm excited to know tonight's result. I'm definitely happy that you felt you accomplished a lot of your goals in this season.
I agree with your castaways list tbh. I feel that they are a strong bunch of castaways. Capital B, Flame beat and XL totally deserved to enter the merge but REDEMPTION ISLAND screwed them up.
An all-stars season should be the next season's focus.

What about Capital B?
He showed strong potential, which is what ultimately got him voted off by his tribe. Which was weird because I would think they'd try to get rid of the weak ones first so that it would help their teams overall score but they got rid of one of their stronger tribe members. I feel like he was done wrong this season.

Nnnn, do people think this? The only reason I voted prezli off was because prezli and rl's alliance was coming after my closest ally (T-Swizz). If we had been on the same starting tribe I probably would have worked with her the entire game.
Unfortunately, we started on different tribes and I got into my alliance with T-Swizz, Bitchcraft, Mariah4life, and Bey_Rihstan and her and Swizz started fighting for control over the game so I put my loyalty to them over my loyalty to her.
Sad that it ended a friendship but it's fine.

Like I said earlier, at that point in the game, Ivory never once lied to me, so it would be foolish of me to give it to Guero or Element when I knew they were closer to each other than they would ever be with me. I didn't feel safe giving it to anyone tbh, the thought of someone backstabbing me was constantly in the back of my mind and I was prepared for it. It would be even more foolish of me to trust others blindly in a game like survivor, however giving ivory the idol was the best option for me at the time because I had no guarantee that I would win the idol over Guero Element or Ivory in the semi finals, so I tried to eliminate as many obstacles as possible that could pose a problem in me achieving the final and most important idol.
I understand why you might feel that way towards Ivory but I think it would be more appropriate to put the blame on me since I was the one that convinced Ivory to vote for you in the first tribal council post merge. My gameplay was not perfect, I know that, but I never talked to you before this game & the only information I had about you was the huge game moves you made last season. Now that I've seen everyone's true colors I would have done a couple things different but at the end of the day, there's no way I could have known that without going through the motions. There's no way I could go back in time and relay all this information to myself at the beginning of the merge. With the information I knew at the time, that was the best decision I could have made.

Lol it's one of those cliché answers where my heart says yes but my mind says no. I loved every second of this experience, all the drama, all the ups, all the downs. I was taking a huge break from school in work when Survivor started so I had all the time in the world to focus on this game 24/7 and put more effort in this than anything else I was doing in my life. But now that I'm back in school and my job is requiring more hours it would be extremely difficult to dedicate as much time to recreate my strategy and figure out how to execute challenges. I've met so many great people through this game & many of them were not given the opportunity to show what they were really made of! Members like Sebas, wesley, Mariah4Life, Golden, Rider, Bitchcraft, Bloomers, Xed, & many more could slay this tournament and I thoroughly believe they could possibly take the crown if they decided to invest the time and effort.
