The author behind James Bond finds Idris too street for the movie. And many people are complaint not finding him English enough for the film. Which is a code word for being too black and we all know how Hollywood is no need to sugarcoat.

How can you be too black? You're either black or you're not. "Street" does not exclusively imply "too black", the author is probably referring to Idris growing in in Hackney/North London and not having an upper middle class background.

The author then went to suggests he knows other black actors who would be better than Idris to play the part and tried to make it clear it was not a race issue.

Horowitz doesn't seem to understand the concept of acting. Idris Elba may be "street" in reality, but in playing a character he would act more "refined". An actors' personality =/= how they play the character.
