Why is everyone saying this? What does it really mean? I went to the Internet and this is all I could find:

In general, when you are perched on something, it means you're like on the edge of your seat or just barely hanging onto something.

So basically, being perched is you there anticipating what will happen next. You're on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next thing to come in a situation (it may be bad, it may be good, it may funny as hell).

Technically were all perched on our mobiles or laptops browsing atrl so

actually it's not gay slang, its been used universally in countries like britain to suggest one to sit down.

This term was not even used much back when I signed up, however recently it's been in like every thread. If you have receipts though I'd like to see them though.
