I’ve seen a lot of post saying that the video for Wildest Dreams is like a fantasy that never happened, and the entire time it was just acting (pretending) for the cameras. And that was the whole thing behind it.
But I think it’s more like two actors filmed together and had a fling in real life. If you notice in the last scene of them in the bedroom you can see him leaving, and then soon after she’s mad at him and starts screaming. Also during the bedroom scene she’s wearing his robe.
And the line “no one has to know what we do” implies that it was a secret, which we later find it is probably because he’s actually married (you can see their rings when it cuts to his and the other girl’s hands touching). And when Taylor finds out she’s completely distraught and heartbroken.
I feel like if everything had really just been ‘filming’ and all in Taylor’s head, he wouldn’t have looked so guilty at the end or ran after her.
I think you guys just don’t want to think of Taylor playing the part of “the other woman"
