Of the many, many memorable moments at the 2015 VMAs, perhaps the one that had people talking the most was Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus’ scathing war of words onstage.
After Nicki was presented with the Best Hip-Hop Video VMA, she shot at Miley: “Back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press; Miley, what’s good?”
Miley, across the stage, came back: “Hey, we’re all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate sh-t; Nicki, congratu-f–king-lations,” she said, before throwing some more shade Nicki’s way with her expressions and intonation.
