News: Hillary Clinton compares Republicans to terrorists

Clinton’s comments have triggered a tantrum from the Republican Party.

On CNN’s State Of The Union, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said, “Well inappropriate, over the top, uncalled for all of those fit. But I think also Hillary is someone who has said, you know, I don’t drive myself. How long has it been, when you talk about the modern world, can she multitask? Does she buy her groceries? Does she cook her meals? Does she get herself from point A to point B like moms and modern American women do? And of course, the answer to that is no. She doesn’t.”

Over on Fox News Sunday, sinking presidential candidate Gov. Chris Christie (D-NJ) bellowed:

That’s a disgrace. It is a disgrace. Can you imagine if we compared the Democratic Party to terrorist groups? Can you imagine the outrage in the mainstream media for that? Yet, she stood up and said that Republicans are like terrorist groups.

Well, here’s what I don’t think mainstream America’s for, I don’t think mainstream America is for an organization getting federal funding, who kills children in the womb, in a particular way, so that it maximizes the value of their body parts on the open market for sale for profit. Now, if Mrs. Clinton thinks that’s what mainstream America likes, I’m happy to have the debate with her.

But, of course, she won’t even answer those questions because she doesn’t even want to talk about what’s really going on at Planned Parenthood. She just wants to talk about these vague generalities about war on women.

But I’m not going to be someone who’s going to stand up and allow her to call my party “terrorists” because we’re not.

The Republican National Committee demanded that Hillary Clinton apologize, “For Hillary Clinton to equate her political opponents to terrorists is a new low for her flailing campaign. She should apologize immediately for her inflammatory rhetoric.”

All of the Republicans above expressed outrage, but none of them defended their party’s record or denied the point that Clinton was making. Instead, the American people have been treated to a large scale temper tantrum because Republicans got called out.

A party that is making the baseless claim that Hillary Clinton belongs in jail due to a bogus email scandal doesn’t have much room to talk when it comes to inflammatory rhetoric.

Hillary Clinton has a unique ability to dominate Republicans and the conversation by hitting them in their weak spot.

Clinton hit them where it hurts, and those howls of Republican rage are masking whimpers of pain.

Obama could of compromised some, now could he? That is why Bill Clinton is such a beloved president, because he could work with Republicans, and compromise with them to get things done.

Hillary making this "unfortunate" remark will only further enhance the public's wariness of her candidacy (Bill Clinton would of never made a statement like that). This "terrorist" comment is not very presidential: voters want a uniter, not a divider.

I agree. Obama is kind of stubborn as well but the main agenda for Republicans has always been to make Obama look like a failure no matter the cost to americans. they truly are evil.

I disagree with your second statement though.

Republicans have only had control of Congress since 2014. Obama's first 2 years in office he had the super majority, he could have passed anything he wanted and he wasted it on Obamacare. The backlash was his losing control of Congress in 2012 and complete control in 2014.

Hillary is flailing right now but stay in your bubble. She has manged to call Republicans terrorists and Nazis in the span of 2 days last week.

If you disagree with his second statement you don't understand politics, maybe you are to young and inexperienced to fully grasp the nuances. It does not do Hillary any favors to alienate the entire Republican party in the slim chance she might win the election. What is she going to do then? Not a single one of them is going to make an effort to support anything she does.

Unlike Obama, Hillary would make an effort to work with Congress and she is flushing it with these comments.
