The songs people are calling "trap" that are really just chillwave...which is downtempo pop or psychedelic pop.

That trend-genre was a thing in 2009-2010: Washed Out, Neon Indian, Toro y Moi, Memory Tapes, etc...

Nah, it's making a comeback with all of the alt r&b singers out right now. All of the videos I posted are from the last couple of years and many of the reviews for HBTB called it chillwave.

Do you guys think a song like Wait For Life should be on Honeymoon? I mean sound-wise, not lyrically.

I don't think they will ever give her above an 80 tbh...there are always too many reviews focusing on her "persona" rather than the music.

That sucks tbh. UV should have got 80+ and BTD deserved a 70. Critics sometimes are the pits.
