Season Five will begin two years after events at the end of Season Four, the network also revealed in a short plot synopsis.
The full synopsis reads: "Season Five will pick-up two years after Carrie Mathison's (Claire Danes) ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the 'war on terror,' Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm."
I think this time jump will ruin everything and I think this 5th season will be the last The ending of season 4 had potential to continue from where they left, it's a shame tbh
The season finale was HORRIBLE but let's not forget that season 4 was almost perfect... Until the last episode. The two year gap might fix that mess / might be the reason why that finale happened
The poster & trailer are great. The only thing is, this season looks so disconnected from season 4, which was disconnected from season 3. They should have ended the original series after season 3 and made seasons 4 & 5 a mini-series.
So excited for October Hopefully, it excels as much as season 4. I like how they're constantly changing the show up now with different locations and new situations. Keeps it fresh!
How was the premiere, guys? I haven't watched it yet but I caught some of the season 4 marathon yesterday and I forgot how many amazing moments it had.
