Pansexual means you're attracting to people regardless of gender. I have a question though, does the definition of bisexual mean they can be attracted to transgender people? I used to think that was the difference between bi and pan.
That's what I was thinking was the difference between the two. I'm not 100% sure though.

I think you're confused about the gender aspect. A bisexual person may not care that someone is male or female, but they are still physically attracted to both. A pan sexual would likely fall for someone solely because of his or her personality.
As already stated bisexual implies that you are attracted to two genders, pansexual means you are attracted to someone regardless of gender (this includes gender-fluid people, non-identifying people, people who fall outwith the gender binary norm etc.). Pansexuality is more about the person, not their gender.
Obviously bisexuals don't care about the gender either.
