But at the end of the day, especially if you're under 18, you literally have no room to be fussy. There's people with more experience, qualifications and they're older than you - why wouldn't they hire them? Also, those people also started from the bottom
If you really want a job, work at McDonald's (they literally hire anyone) for like 3-6 months just to get experience and then apply again. Getting your first job is always the hardest

It definitely will, don't worry. It's just in the beginning when you're still getting used to being on your feet all day. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

****ing seaworld....it was only seasonal though so my last day was like a week ago. i applied at AMC theaters like 3 days ago and hoping i get called in for an interview.

I had everything planned out this year, I was supposed to be getting a job at my school, designing things. But, they replaced the prinicpal for no reason at all, and put a new one. So I'm unsure if I'm still gonna have the job, until I get there. If I don't get a job by the end of the upcoming month I'll most likely work fastfood.

Make sure you mention the job! Not only are you more likely to get it but they'll show you're motivated and serious. Plus McDonald's isn't that bad. They have a lot of benefits (well in the UK ), it's flexible, young people work there + you get a free lunch!

Part time cleaning after college

My first job ever was a part-time job in the morning before school delivering newspapers. I think I was 14 at the time. In the UK it is called doing a paper round.

I worked at the store and G-A-Y at the same time, whilst moving into my own flat. I've lived here 7 years, and I'm now 25.

Haven't had a perm job yet, however I just finished a work trial as an Office Assistant at a Solicitors. which was my first paying "job", so I guess that would be it.

Girl my feet still hurt at the end of every shift...standing for 5-6 hours at a time.
