Your replies are a kiiii. A better songwriter is largely subjective, it's not factual unless you base it on something like induction to the Songwriters HOF. "The simple fact" is Taylor Swift has written more solo songs that have been released than Lady Gaga, but that doesn't automatically make her a better songwriter. The quantity line was in reference to this - having more songs written (solo or otherwise) doesn't make a person a better songwriter.
In my opinion, Taylor is more consistent writer, but Gaga has higher highs in songwriting (and corresponding bumps in the road where ideas really didn't pan out well). Gaga writers much better hooks, and Taylor Swift generally writes better verses, though there are exceptions for both.
all of taylor's songs have more meaning to it and less co-writers than anything on atrpop, wake up.
