So reading between the lines, the driver was trying to smuggled these people in (probably to the Schengen zone) and they died from suffocation as a result? That seems most likely. The driver should face justice if so.

These are refugees trying to escape the war in Syria. They might have paid to be transported without realizing they were in an air-tight truck meant for refrigeration.

So, basically Syrians trying to cross countries illegally to reach northern/western Europe, because the rest of Europe didn't meet their expectations.

They run away from a country that makes Somalia look like heaven and all of a sudden, they don't accept ANY LESS than Germany and Sweden, so they can freely rape blonde, blue eyed women and beat gays, while getting free education, housing and everything.
