I agree with most of your points, however not everything is keeping you alive and killing you at the same time. If for example you were to be hit by a car, you would be getting killed not living. Unless of course this is death so you would actually becoming alive.

An idea of an afterlife is thought by people who are scared of dying and not being able to do or see or hear anything after death. There is no such thing.
The idea of no afterlife is thought by people who don't think there are no consequences for the life they lead in this world. I think people who don't believe in an after life are more scared of dying than those who do. I actually agree with the OP That life truly starts after death because we are then in the spiritual realm (Higher Consciousness)

The idea of the afterlife could not have been conceived because of man's fear of death especially when there is hell and according to religions which have that doctrine, people are more likely to end up there than.make it to heaven. And the concept of reincarnation in eastern religions was not invented either to comfort people not when moksha/nirvana or inexistence is what people should seek to achieve and reincarnation is the one that should actually be avoided.

I believe ANYTHING is possible. We don't have the answers to everything, and I hate that society has to create "permanent" answers to things we don't understand. You guys need to start opening your minds.
