i think when people see tell-tale signs of people being mentally ill they should instantly send them to a psychiatrist or for help. the church shooting and this guy both many people said had tendencies to go crazy (e.g. the butler and the photos of the church guy hunting, etc). these people need to be locked up before they act out

Look at his manifesto and the manifestos of other shooters such as Elliot Rodger. There is OBVIOUSLY something wrong with them.

This may sound too nice now that they both have committed such atrocities but they needed to be helped. Unfortunately, society still tends to look down on mentally ill individuals.

obviously two wrongs do not make a right, this man was psychotic. it annoys me to see the killers being broadcasted more than the victims on forums and in the media. i highly doubt more than maybe (two?) people in this thread can name all of the church victims and the victims of this event without googling or searching it up of course lol. although i am sure ALL OF US can name the people who caused the crimes in each event since they're being more broadcasted than the victims themselves. it's almost like the media is illustrating that if you want to become infamous it's easy you just have to go and shoot a bunch of people.

to follow up on your answer, he KNEW the media would put him in his eyes as a hero to the black community on killing these two white people. if the media did not focus so much on him and release things such as his suicide letter his story would be omitted. i don't want to know the history and ideology of the killers who commit this. if nobody cared about these infamous killers then nobody would do it unless it was pure rage.

Did you even read his suicide note? His "justification" behind his disgusting actions are racially motivated. It's a fact that people are going to use this to fuel the race wars in America, because people are ****** like that. And to deny that fact is equivalent to covering your ears and screaming "la la la la!!". There is a race problem in America, and though this man was inarguably wrong, evil and deserves to burn in hell (among many other things wrong with him), racial affairs is one of those problems.

No one is "excusing him". Literally, I have not seen a single person in this thread "excuse" what this man did. However, race actually IS a factor in this story. The killer's own words prove that, just like in the Dylan Roof case.

Many people on Twitter are implying or straight-up saying that what he did was good. In fact I have seen people tweeting about how he is giving the whites a taste of their own medicine. I didn't read everyones comments in this forum so I apologize if that hasn't come up yet or at all. I've seen more race wars on Twitter than discussion on the actual issue.

I don't think anyone knows yet. I'm willing to bet he followed them from the news station.

The guy is clearly insane, but letters from disgruntled customers like this one aren't abnormal or raise flags in the slightest.
