I'm starting to give some albums a try but this year hasn't gave anything worth listening

Well I made a mid year countdown so yeah, in a way. I'm definitely doing it this year with my super long winter break.
Primary focus will be on songs as always but I might try to include movies and albums as well.

I'll do my usual list in December.
Starting December 16th with the Wannabees of my Top 350 Songs of the Year.

No one ever knows the songs in mine and I use songs from any year as long as I listened to it this year. So I don't really think threading it is necessary, given most people don't want to check Best Of threads for new music. I mean I've done it these past two years and I always get so many comments just saying "I don't know any of these songs " when I even provide Youtube links, because people are just hoping I'll return the favor and comment on their Best Of. Normally if people didn't listen to a single song I wouldn't comment on theirs.

So TL;DR my taste is too ~~indie~~ for ATRL and I'll probably just make a Youtube/Spotify/something playlist featuring all the songs and post it in Blogs.

I love checking Best of threads for new music. My Best of List will probably have little to no Hot 100 artists because it's more interesting that way. I love seeing a list of the 'Best songs you haven't heard.'
