You know, I am actually pretty certain that people have missed my point and have just jumped on a bandwagon of accusing me of being 'insensitive' when they actually haven't bothered to really understand what I was trying to say.
I personally know first hand what it's like to lose people who have been shot, so not for one second would I be insensitive towards victims of gun violence. I was reporting the facts in:
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/l...aman-shot-dead
Which states that the man who shot Alison stated that she made racist comments towards him. People beforehand were stating that 'he just shot them over nothing, and he knew them?'. I then went onto explain that his 'motive' from which he is using as a defence was that the station and Alison had racially abused him in the past. My point was, even if Alison had been racist (which none of us know), it doesn't mean this lunatic had a right to shoot ANYONE over it.
And THEN, people started accusing me of victim blaming and being insensitive. It then went on to assuming I have a duplicate account (probably an attempt to get me banned).
I can't even bring myself to watch the video, that's how much this story struck a nerve with me. Don't judge someone when you don't know their full story.
RIP again to the victims.
