So I just got the new iPhone 6, and can someone tell me why every time I try to browse ATRL on it I get spammed with ads opening in new windows

Yeah you just have to learn to deal with it or go on ATRL elsewhere. It has something to do with the server I think

Buy an antivirus app.

Turn off Javascript in the Safari settings (in the Settings app).

Though you'll not see videos after that.

That used to happen to me aswell on my 5s when i visited atr. I'm guessing atrl gets paid to shove those ads in out face. So glad i switched to android

Yeah, the ads on ATRL mobile are a mess. There'll be adblock with iOS 9 in the next month so just bear with it till then, I guess.

It's crazy. There's no way to avoid it when you're on LTE. On wi-fi, there are ways to stop it, though.

I had the same problem on my S4. Its not an Apple problem.

It's much better on wifi. On data, you'll be lucky to get a preview of the ATRL homepage.
Turn off your JavaScript
Settings > Safari > Advanced > JavaScript

use firefox or chrome on iphone, and install add on sis

I got it on my iPhone 5S but not on my 6+. I also got adds (full screen) when on my S2 that had a cross in the corner (I lost my 5s) but only after a few days. The adds on my 5S used to appear under the OP post.

Honestly I think it's something that gets in your phone after browsing for a while.

Or it might be for my S2 and 5S I used mobile mode.
I don't need to for my 6+ so perhaps that's why.

Try browsing in desktop mode and see if happens?
