I am the only one actually relaying the facts here. The man who shot her said that Alison made racist comments towards him. Are we going to ignore this fact? If this is a memorial thread, I will happily leave. But I was under the assumption that this thread can be used to discuss the case at hand?

the media will not treat this as an isolated incident...this man will be seen as a representation of all blacks
then the other side which will go on to say "why aren't they calling him mentally unstable...but if he were white they'd do it"
Why are you so quick to believe a man who has all the signs of being a mighty disturbed man who just shot and killed two people and uploaded the videos to the Internet? Check your self before I spend a few WPs.
I was trying to give everyone in this thread a little more insight into why the gunman might have done what he did. It would be silly to omit the motive in a thread such as this.
Oh, I absolutely agree. Not in any way shape or form am I insinuating that Alison was 100% a racist. I was just reporting the story that the news outlets are reporting.
Why are people taking such offence to the facts of the story? I will never know.
You are acting like it's a fact that Allison is racist. The only person who said that is a double murderer who filmed the videos and uploaded them.
I watched the video (the GoPro one), and why did he clearly and openly hold a gun up at them and nobody even reacted until he shot them like 15 seconds later?
Can people be a little more SENSITIVE? Two people were murdered by a man that, no matter what pushed him to do what he did, was wrong. We get that there might be a racial issue behind all of this, but the "well, she kind of had it coming then" actitude that some people could read in some of these comments, most of them made on social media, is disrespectful. Trying to justify what this man did is not the way to deal with the problem.
I literally haven't seen one comment saying she had it coming.
I hate the current gun laws in this country too.
