No it's not creepy but it has to be used in the right situation, can't just throw it around. When used properly, it can really punch.

but there was one time when i was in the car with my parents and we heard music and they asked why the singer is using "daddy", i wanted to burn this word in that moment

I used to be so weirded out by it, it was just so strange.
Now I'm really used to that and even say it (jokingly) myself
