That's the thing. Some acronyms and abbreviation are already confusing enough. Why do people opt to use OT which is ambiguous on ATRL (but really means off-topic) instead of OP which only has one meaning? Even if OP can stand for both original post or original poster, at least we know what the user is typing about. When OT is used, it can literally mean two completely opposite things, and I don't wanna waste my time and brain power understanding the context of your post.
