Astral Monkey was such a good episode. Very dark for season two. The ending >>> Holly's acting.

I really liked Astral Monkey because I liked the way they developed continuity and stories during the early part of the series. I really wish they played with that some more. If every thing they did had a consequence or a reaction I feel like I would have wound up believing them being so done with magic shenanigans in the later parts of the series.

Paige was a mess and a half.

I also loved the Vanishing spell and how Paige used it a thousand times.

Isn't the story that The WB was turning into the CW around the end of Season 7. That's why the finale for that was so .. complete. And then the CW commissioned another season because they wanted some anchors to help the show transition to the new network. But they gave them like no budget and time. Which is why most of the season had people written out or not appearing for the majority of it. All contributing to the messiness of it.

In this scene (vanquishing Zankou), Phoebe was wearing heels. Then they get knocked back, and suddenly she's in sneakers. I roll my eyes every time, because it's SO OBVIOUS.

I ****ing hated Paige and the vanishing spell. IT just made me think how lazy ass the writing was. And how the ****ing affect of it changed every time she used it.
