It was close for a while, but Kim Kardashian has officially surpassed Beyoncé to become the most-followed person on Instagram. According to Tech Insider, Kardashian quietly slipped past Beyonce overnight, hitting 44,005,604 followers. Meanwhile, Beyoncé lags behind at 43,935,648.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has seen a rapid increase in her follower base recently, so she’s likely to stay on top for a while. As Tech Insider points out, both Kim and Bey post photos of themselves and their families (especially their cute daughters North and Blue Ivy, respectively) but there are two key differences. First, Kim posts much more frequently, and second, she includes lengthier and more personal captions.
She'll likely be passed by Taylor though who's gaining more followers daily than her. Congrats to Kim though
