The next and sixth overall single taken from album is the song “Eyes Shut“, which was written by Olly Alexander, Emre Turkmen and Michael Goldsworthy, and produced with the collaboration of Mark Ralph.
The touching piano-ballad is scheduled to impact radios in September (at least in Germany) and it’s without doubt a very strong and emotional choice perfect for the autumn season.
Probably the most commercial of the slowies so it'll work for the autumn winter period. Follow it with Ties early next year and the era will be a success. They need a change of pace. All their singles were beginning to get a bit samey.
