This isn't true at all.
My uncle is married to a white lady. Both of my cousins look white - blonde hair, pale skin and all of that, you wouldn't know they were half black unless they told you.
Another example is Halsey.
I'm pretty sure nobody is even aware that she's half black.
Mixed children can look like anything. There are also some that look completely black and not white at all. It all depends.
