I love Demi's resonance in her belts, but Ari's stamina up in the stratosphere is amazing.

I enjoy Demi, mainly with "Neon Lights" and "Cool For The Summer" but i'm not into the rest of her career.

I prefer Demi, tbh...
I think Ariana has the highest sitting tessitura out of any popstar to date,so notes F5 and above are really comfortable for her..hence why she has so much ease up there. Although impressive, it just doesn't have the same effect on me as full-fledged E5s/F5s coming from darker sopranos like Demi. There's this striking vibrance in Demi's belts (it may be the resonance) that I don't find in Ariana. Contrary to popular belief, Demi mixes FAR better than Ariana (she's a chest-dominant belter) and her placement allows for better volume output. I think it's also interesting that Demi's belts although bright, have a darker coloring to it..The mature sound is much more fitting and more effective for dramatic climaxes..as opposed to Ariana's headier belts.
Not to mention she actually can phrases words in the 5th octave while belting!

Ariana wins for more ease higher range
Demi wins resonance, phrasing, even mixing scale, and delivery.

Demi is stronger in the studio but Ariana is far better live so i voted for her.

"she can belt higher" - Doesn't matter if anything below D5 is barely audible because of her inability to produce is decent column of sound due to poor projection. She can belt higher because her tessitura sits higher.. The resonance still isn't anything to brag about.

"with more power" - No

Demi does tend to pull the chest up to far on the belting scale and strain, particularly on F#5+ but Ariana's problem forming consanant sounds above E5 is much worse in my opinion..terrible diction and mediocre phrasing.

Another point that should be noted! She's very inconsistent. She should take better care of her voice. She has potential to be better than what she is.

Yep, she's inconsistent but the video you posted is from 2014, her worst point vocally. Her voice was really damaged but she took vocal lessons and this year she has been killing it in every aspect.
