Used to be 5. We dropped one on the last day of school senior year (such a fake *****). I exclude 2 others because I didn't grow up with them and I don't connect with them like the other 2, who I've known since elementary school.

like 6 that i would consider BEST friends

but to be fair, i probably only have like 10-15 friends total. i keep my circle small for a reason. and all my friends are pretty much best friends / friends with each other.

2 but I'm pissed off at 1 because I feel like I'm expendable to him. He's my longest known friend and I owe him a lot so it's hard to think of him as anything else even when I'm mad at him.

I don't call anyone my best friend anymore, I just say good friend. I have like 12 good friends.

I have five of my classmates from college. We just stuck with each other after college and kept in close contact. I reflected upon friendships one day and concluded that my friendship with them is unbreakable regardless of time and distance.

Another one is my token straight guy best friend that I fell in love with. He was instrumental as my inspiration as I pulled myself out of depression and managed to revive my career, although we're both busy nowadays so we haven't talked in a while.

The last one is currently the friend that I am constantly in contact with since he's a co-worker. He's the only person out of my "work friends" that has proven his loyalty, and that's pretty hard to come by nowadays, so it really meant a lot to me.

So I guess I have 7.

Six, seven if I count my boyfriend. All of them guys.

I used to have 3, but one of them became a bitch and now I have 1. But I'm fine with it.
