This list makes no sense. Shouldn't it be the average rating and score for artists who put out albums in the past 5 years? Wasn't Born to Die panned? It makes no sense Sky is so low and Lana is so high when her debut was well rated... Ultra violence shouldn't make so much difference. And Iggy was panned hard, why is she even on this list? There's no way she's even in the top 500 unless by pure exposure that drags up her ratings. Who ever did this list is trolling

It really doesn't matter what was panned with this methodology as it exclusively looks at what music made it on to long term lists -- the site's aggregate scoring ONLY weighs year end, decade and all time list appearances. Net negative scoring doesn't matter as it's not factored to begin with and this is only looking at long term rankings published after 2010.

i never knew that you didnt need "acclaim" (well in the meaning of this website) to have 3 singles inducted into the recording academy hall of fame: Barbra Streisand. Or win an Oscar for best original song... or win a golden globe, or become the 5th best selling female recording artist (albums). She won an AOTY Grammy with a so-called not acclaimed album too (well one which did not appear as being acclaimed on the website).
