Now, after some research I found out Haylie Duff was supposed to voice Isabella in the movie where Lizzie and Isabella perform together and in the soundtrack there's even a ballad version of the song where Haylie Duff is credited as the main performer:

But for some reason Hilary's vocals in the movie are replaced with Haylie's vocals after her part as Isabella was long over (and even when she was still there)

This is clearly obvious during the "no no no" part in the second verse where her voice suddenly goes deeper but only in the second "no" also the first part of the bridge as well as the words "duller" and "technicolor" and the adlibs at the end.



Which means sis (well, Disney) basically pulled a Myah Marie and lied our children selves during all these years

There was supposed to be 2 different voices in that scene because the storyline had 2 characters being played by the same actress but they deliberately replaced Hilary's vocals with her sisters during the rest of the performance when it was no longer needed, just listen to the second video . I wouldn't be surprised if Anthony Preston or will.i.am worked in the songs of this movie, tbh.
