Jordin's record label kinda sat on her after Battlefield didn't do well (despite the lead single being a hit). She hasn't released an album since then. Despite that though, she's managed to stay relevant and in the public eye.
David A had his Religion play a bigger importance in his life and he put his music career on the side for a bit to give his religion his full attention.
Elliott released his album independently so his initial success was very impressive for that reason. HIs music after that wasn't quite as mainstream, that combined with no major label support didn't help.
