This happens literally all the time in Hollywood and pretty much every male-dominated industry. Cosby is just being targeted by someone who has orchestrated all these revelations at the same time, it's obvious at this point.

DOES NOT MEAN HE ISN'T A MONSTER AND DOESN'T DESERVE IT, but, like I said, this is very very common in Hollywood, and it's curious that Cosby of all people, being probably the most (formerly) respected black man in Hollywood and such an icon, would be the one to be exposed like this.

Remember how it came out that Bryan Singer had also been involved in similar things, casting couches and parties with half naked boys, including allegations of drugs and the r word (rhymes with ape)? Yet it was quickly hushed up because he's the creative force behind a lucrative franchise (X-Men).

The Bryan Singer thing went nowhere because there was only one accuser and the lawsuit was dropped because he had little credibility and lied to a judge. In fact, he just pleaded guilty to fraud. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true, but one person who isn't very reliable isn't enough to target a popular director in Hollywood.

Cosby isn't being targeted by "someone who has orchestrated" all this. It became news when Hannibal Buress' stand up routine about Cosby being a rapist went viral. Media outlets pander to Twitter and Instagram users because they're a measure of popularity nowadays so they asked previous accusers that barely got any coverage a decade ago for new interviews; they actually received attention and web hits from readers this time. More and more people came out and you know the rest of the story.

How? So many...

These stars were reckless in the pre-social media generation. At least karma's coming for him now.
