JLO's A.K.A. era was met with a lot of hostility on ATRL and by critics. Many were quick to drag it and it only received a score of 45 on metacritic (which is a little tragic ).
But it gave us bops such as I Luh Ya Papi, First Love and Booty (albeit a cheap Anaconda rip off which was a blip on the charts)
So were we too quick to hate on it? Is A.K.A. underrated?
Mmm, it has some really good tracks like First Love, Same Girl and Emotion (the 'I feel good cuz I don't feel bad' line is stil tragic tho ), but the rest is quite mediocre/trash.
I Luh Ya Papi, First Love, Troubeaux, So Good, Never Satisfied, Same Girl, Girls >>>. Tens was cute for a gay bop but this was drivel. I really do love the songs above though.
