In the above interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Trump promised to scare the pope with threats that ISIS extremists would kill him and seize the Vatican. Trump said he wanted to tell the pope: “ISIS wants to get you. You know that ISIS wants to go in and take over the Vatican — you have heard that. That’s a dream of theirs.”
When Cuomo questioned the ethics behind trying to drive fear into Pope Francis’ heart, Trump was embarrassingly unapologetic: “I’m going to have to scare the pope. The pope, I hope, can only be scared by God, but the truth is — you know, if you look at what’s going on — they better hope that capitalism works, because it’s the only thing we have right now. And it’s a great thing when it works properly.”
Vatican will never fall, it is way, WAY too important and symbolic of Europe in general. ISIS/Trump can stay dreaming. Swiss guard will **** 'em up and spit out their bones for a kii.

Capturing Rome would be their ultimate goal, it's European mainland's seat of power. They can stay dreaming tho, it's an archaic institution with a lot of.. history.
If it were not for a certain few key battles during the Crusades (which were a response to Islam dominating Europe from the east), things could be very different right now, shall we say.
