I'm pretty sure a Kat said that in the past and he was dragged for it.
That was a supposed 'insider' intimating that Bad Blood's chorus and first verse as they are in the final Taylor version was offered to Katy, but she passed. This is a little different and a whole lot more plausible.
This is no surprise. I've always had the theory that Bad Blood was a Katy parody, and the fact that she released a remix with a completely different sound for the world to hear, as well as this tweet, kind of supports that.
Cackling at the Kats running in here to say they're glad Katy rejected it because it's a "bad song" and "basic", they seem to be conveniently forgetting that describes most of Katy's discography.
how is this surprising? this is what happens with all the artists that work with dr. luke, max martin, etc. they all get recycled songs that have been rejected by other people.
it's interesting that max martin would even offer a song he wrote the chorus of to a "songwriter" who claims to write their own music... makes you wonder: why would he do that unless he knew those that popstar doesn't actually write their own music?

Did you even read the tweet or are you just blinded by hatred? It clearly says "the instrumental to bad blood" obviously points to nothing being written for it
