Spain has control of a small part of Moroccan territory, Great-Britain has control of a small part of Spanish territory + all the overseas stuff. Europe is a mess tbh.

I'm being facetious. I just see a lot of Europeans calling us racists for agreeing with Trump on the immigration issues in our country.
This really is a situation with a choice between two bad possibilities :
-prevent the migrants from coming (refugees excepted) and that won't be done peacefully given their desperation
-welcome them at the risk of provoking severe social unrest in already strained European societies
This is the only option IMO, the alternative is to allow Europe to become increasingly akin to the places these migrants wish to escape.

If Macedonia and Hungary are tightening their borders than the migrants will make their way to Croatia, and if Slovenia stop them then they'll get boats to Italy and join thousands of other migrants heading north from Sicily and Calabria. There ain't much that can be done.
I don't even understand why Hungary and Macedonia are so keen to rid themselves of migrants when they know migrants have no interest in staying in their countries, they simply want to travel through.
Hungary probs got some German money to make it hard for the migrants to enter, slow the influx as much as possible.Having the fence is a win win situation for everyone, for the Germans financially for the Hungarian government politically, the only losers are the poor migrants.
