And who cares about acclaim on technological devices? It can be acclaimed as hell, but the more used aka the best sold is the one that matters.

McDonald's doesn't depend on outside restaurants to want to build menus for them the way phones depend on outside developers to want to create innovative apps for them.

It doesn't matter how great Samsung's phones are if all the good apps pop up on iPhone first and then go to Android in a shittier version 1 year later.

Samsung copied the design of the iPhone and now people think it ahould be labeled best smartphone.

The S6, the Edge and the Note 5 are easily top of the range devices and better than anything Apple has ever put out (this is a reality, not a a debate).
All their phones before the Note 4 were crap though.

HTC used to be the most acclaimed Android manufacturer until they mangled the M9.

No, the S6 edge / edge plus is pointless. What even is the point of the curves on the side of the phone, besides making straight lines look wonky?

I do however think Apple need to address the bezels on the iPhone. I have the 6+ and it looks so much sleeker when I've got a case on it, as the bezels look smaller.

Edge lighting - pointless when you have a notification LED and why would I want to place the screen face down where it can get scratched?
People edge - good but I doubt it would be used that often.
Information stream - you still have to interact with the screen for it to work so you may as well just press the home or power button to see the time, weather etc.
Night clock - good providing you charge your phone right next to your bed, but I wouldn't drop and extra £100+ on this phone for a night clock feature

Yes. I used to use apple but when the s6 edge came out i switched over. Probably the most beautiful phone ever. I still prefer IOS but in terms of hardware samsung has left apple in the dust. I use the s6 edge with ilauncher and it like having the best of both worlds.
