Is Blank Space, arguably one of the biggest pop songs released from a pop singer this decade so far? It's already taken over Dark Horse in Vevo views which was released a couple of years ago. It's already being hailed as the highlight of her career. Is it iconic?
It's too early to tell but I voted yes because the Kats are going to infest this thread about how Dark Horse, Roar, and Firework are forever bigger than Taylor's entire career which ultimately has nothing to do with whether or not Blank Space will end up iconic.
Anyway, it has a 50/50 chance. The pen click and the misheard Starbucks line are the only memorable parts to the GP, the video is going to be its biggest source of impact in the end.

It's not a pen click, it's a cheeky 'tsk' sound made by someone's mouth.
Probably the worst and least iconic song from the entire era (although Shake It Off is really the only song from the era that could actually arguably be deemed "iconic"). Its cultural reach didn't go very far beyond its use in Grindr bios for about three weeks.
The video was only popular because it was, until very recently, the only way to stream the song legally. Not sure why people insist on ignoring this fact.
