I take issue with the religion's most fundamental idea - that, ultimately, all you have to do is believe in God and worship him to get into heaven.

It makes no sense. Why isn't just being a good person enough? I have never heard an adequate response to this question.

a lot of things, unfortunately. the hypocrisy is probably the biggest one.

also since i was just talking about this.. it bothers me when, for example, a tornado sweeps through a neighborhood and kills hundreds of families... then you see a family who survived and say it was god who saved them, god who let them live. it's like.. so you were good enough to be saved by god but not the other families?

my best friend's friend was killed and my friend's mother was just saying "whelp, god wanted her to go, so it was her time, we can't control that.." like that bugs me it's all just very self-aggrandizing to me

should it be harder?

I don't really know any Christians but the few I do know are extremely judgemental so that turned me off, and ofcoure there hate for us hennies
