I'm not surprised at the ignorance that's tied with racism that goes on within this site, which is sometimes very interesting seeing people who don't go on other websites outside of this forum bickering about the topic without educating themselves first, but the transphobia is a lot on here. Not just on here though, but when I go out, (which I'd recommend to some of you), there's a lot of transphobia in the gay community too and I just don't get it. Can someone explain?
People can be unempathetic to things that can't relate to. Most people have no idea how it feels to be one gender but identify as the other so some of them respond to it negatively or without seriousness since it's an alien concept to them.
Honestly, I haven't seen much transphobia on here. Can you give some examples?
It honestly puzzles me tbh, whats more interesting is that a madonna stan was behind those comments... It feels like they are the same category of gays who say "no femme pls, no asians etc" on their grindr profiles or who label themselves as "straight acting gays"

i was so surprised at the Madonna stans being so transphobic just to defend Madonna and shade Gaga in here and they dont even know it.. I am honestly disgusted since Madonna preaches about equality and anti ageism.
Trans is the new "Gay" sort to say. It's new in the mainstream and lot of people just don't understand why people have the need to completely transform their body. It's a complex subject. A lot of people have the same opinion that changing your sex is a bit too far.

Just today there was a thread about a transgender individual (Gigi Gorgeous) and some Madonna stans called her by the male pronouns and cracked jokes about her being a "man".
You would think fans of pop music wouldn't stoop that low, but I guess not.
