So scary. Louis Tomlinson’s dad, Troy Austin, was reportedly arrested after attempting to commit suicide. Officers allegedly found him drunk, trying to gas himself to death in a parked car — we have all the sad details.

It's very well known that Louis doesn't really want anything to do with his father, I hope they're both okay
Sad, if true, but like most attempted suicides it isn't just an attempt for nothing... A lot of people do it as a cry for help and/or attention, he might hope Louis will want to restore contact again. He needs help and I hope he gets it

That's why I'm apprehensive too, but I'd like to think they wouldn't make something like this up. If they did, that would be extremely tacky and they could be sued (and rightfully so)

They'd blame their "insider", say that they got a random email, and find a way out of the lawsuit easily.
That's the norm sis, I remember having this discussion in class and the whole class was divided on whether its needed or not. Very sad news for his dad though (if true)
He's been very problematic in the past and this is just sad, especially for Louis and all that he's dealing with right now. He doesn't deserve this. My thoughts are with him and his mother right now because even though she's not with him anymore of course, it must be awful to hear this about the father of your child.
Yeah that way they can hold you and try to get you help. So the person doesn't have a chanceto try again. Also it allows police to break in to places (like home) to save them. They are only allowed to do that without a warrant if they believe a crime is going on.
