The production to me is what makes it sound ageless, it's not too R&B or too Pop or too Dance to be dated imo. Alongside with the topic being about a relationship, but not in a 'lovey-dovey' sob story kind of way, Rih rather sounds 'cool' on it, makes it even more timeless
