Shawn Christian supposedly said a couple of months ago at some fan event that he wasn't sure if he was renewing his contract and there has been some speculation that he's already gone. I hope he is.

I wouldn't be mad if he left. His character is literally dumped into other people's story lines just to give him screen time. His pairings never work out either.

I agree. He's kinda useless to the history of the show and isn't a rootable character. If he leaves, they should just kill him off.

I'm really curious about the murder mystery because the actors that are leaving all debuted in like 2013/2014 and don't really have ties to the canvas. Like who in Salem would have the motive to kill both Paige and Serena, for example, two characters who have never crossed paths. . I'm interested to see how they tie it all together.

It is very interesting, which is why I'll be watching. I also read that they will be killing off a character that is making a return appearance for the shows 50th. The tie in will be intriguing. Hopefully it is not a Y&R murder mystery size mess.

I wonder which of the new guys will be gay. Maybe they can finally write off Will, even tho his storyline is the only reason I ever watch parts of this show.

I read that too which throws me off even more.

Even if it is just random people getting killed off (I'm assuming that's what happened on Y&R), I'll still probably be entertained.

I was hoping they'd put a gay character in this age group, but I don't see them having two different gay couples in two separate age groups. I'd love to be wrong tho.

I was gonna say that Chase gives me gay teas, but him and Theo are the only males who could be paired with Claire & Ciara. And I doubt they'd make Joey gay, although I would love him to be cause the actor is a cutie.

I remember when crazy ass Jan Spears had Shawn locked in a cage for like a year and then he crashed Belle and Phillip's wedding with his motorcycle. Then Shawn and Belle got it on in a barn but had amnesia so they thought Phillip was Claire's dad

Days of Our Lives never had a good "teen scene" outside of Austin, Carrie, Sami and Lucas.

I could not get into the 2000s teen scene. I hated Belle, and this is coming from someone who lived for Kirsten Storms' Maxie on GH.
