If you think youtube views make a classic big you are completely wrong.
There isn't a single song of The Beatles on youtube with more than 70m views I guess and they have bigger classics than Madonna and Cyndi Lauper combined.
Madonna has re up-loaded her videos 19283192 3times, they have been blocked etc.

I don't think YouTube views make a classic.
However, a song having streams means it's remembered so it's known by people, especially when these song come from the 80s
And ok about YouTube (Even though I used 3 videos & 2 of them were uploaded 5 years ago), Time After Time has still more Spotify streams than Like A Virgin

Maybe because Madonna's videos are deleted all the time? it happened the same with 4 minutes it had like 80m of views and got deleted because it was uploaded by a random user. I'm not sure about Like A Virgin but it was probably deleted with all of her other videos.
And by that logic we can say "Time After Time" is bigger than Hey Jude and Let It Be because it has more streams on youtube?
Time After Time is more streamed than this Madonna song from the same time period on all streaming services so yeah not sure why 'hey jude' matters here.
I'm not surprised Time after time is not just an 80s staple but a timeless classic and very beloved by the new generation and it's way better than madonna's Like a virgin
Madge still got the bigger career

Let It Be was released in 1970, Hey Jude in 1968.
You'd have to compare them with songs released in 1970 & 1968, not songs from 1984.
I don't get your logic.
I hate Like A Virgin but it's the bigger, more remembered song. More people own the song and the album, so streaming receipts against it are irrelevant. Girls Just Want To Have Fun is bigger than both, but that's because it's been used in every cruise ship commercial since 1985.

So? Let It Be is still much bigger than that song and has less streams.
It's kind of hard to use YouTube and Spotify streams as receipts for songs like Time After Time and Like a Virgin since they were released so long before streaming even started. Personally I think Like a Virgin is more of a classic
And yet it can't oustream Cyndi's song. Why?
Is Like A Virgin not relevant to the streaming generation? Which would basically mean it's more remembered = bigger classic than LAV.

That just shows which is more used by the streaming generation (a.k.a us), though.
Time After Time is a bigger classic in the US and Like A Prayer is a bigger classic in Europe. TAT has benefitted from the fact that it's turned into quite the talent show staple.
YouTube doesn't really count as a receipt, because Madonna's videos get deleted and removed all the time and most of them aren't on her VEVO.

Why would Madonna care about streamings when she is the best selling female artist of all time ?
People actually BOUGHT her SONGS and ALBUMS that's why she has 10 entries here.
