It seems that only gay men do drag (as women), what about the lesbian community? Why isn't it as popular?

I know drag kings exist but I feel like most of the lesbians i know don't have a fixation on straight men the way that many gay men have a fixation on straight women. The inequality in our society gives it a different dynamic.

I think it's easier for a man to dress up as a woman versus a woman dressing up as a man. Drag queens need a wig, a dress, and some fake boobs whereas women would need to hide their chest and get facial hair, etc. it's more difficult

I think lesbians just think of gay guys as petty and silly and go .

Yeah, that'd explain why 'faux queens' are more popular than 'drag kings', I guess.

Because it's socially acceptable for lesbian women to dress like men (or very very very masculine) in their daily lives but it's not for men. Because sexism.

They're not as attention seeking and dramatic
