1 million downloads sold (combined MelOn+other digital sites) these days can be considered a huge hit. A few years ago this would be considered a flop (for well established groups) since the biggest hits sold 3-4 million each. But with download prices increasing and streaming become much stronger than before, download sales have naturally fallen greatly.
oh damn, okay i see it all now. wow, pretty similar to how it is over here tbh. i wonder why there aren't so many huge solo acts however? i guess groups are more profitable.
